In 1989 as a theater educator from Istanbul/Turkey, Derya Shuberth works nowadays mainly in Vienna/Austria as a multidisciplinary artist and photographer. She participated in diverse international exhibitions and projects. Her latest works created with help of Artificial Intelligence; a series of photographies with the theme of human being "Facedown“ are set in relation to our fictional environment regarding climate change.

Everything is connected. Also with regard to global warming or climate change. The influence of us humans and our use of resources affect global warming and the climate crisis. In conjunction with visions of artificial intelligence, we would like to show the connection between this emergency and us humans.
